It's driving me nuts! I've just dealt with it by cutting one section at a time and making adjustments. Is it feeding too much fabric? Not enough? Feed dog issue? Are my strips not straight when I cut? Am I stretching the fabric w/o me knowing it? Spray starch?
The length of the strips are 22 inches so I'm not dealing with 44 inches.
I don't remember having these strip issues with my Topaz. I may have to pull it out and see.

I hope you find out what to do about this as I have the same problem too with long strips. I remember once seeing someone explain that you need to turn or twist the strips as you sew them, but I'm not sure about that.
That's the answer - sew top to bottom and then sew bottom to top, and it should help. Sue
I agree - alternate the direction you are sewing the strips in.
It may be a feed issue, but I think you should check your sewing tension first
The alteration of strips sounds like it will help. Also do you use your walking foot to piece? or your 1/4 inch foot? The other thing I have found out is that not all rotary cut pieces are on the straight of the grain and it can distort the seam when sewn. Chris
