I'm really not liking this look. Those orange petals look retarded. The problem is ripping all of this out isn't worth my time or my sanity. Keep going and just deal with it because maybe it's not as horrendous as I think it is? Any way to cover this up? This is giving me a huge headache trying to keep myself accurate as well.
Ruby is doing a beautiful job though.

I saw your post earlier about the holes where the needle hits and thought about responding then. :0 Inertia...
Those holes Will disappear with the first washing, and more than likely the thread you can see will also, particularly if you don't prewash before sewing.
These flowers will be brilliant when you stand back and see the whole quilt. We get so focused on what is in front of our nose we forget it's the overall look that is the goal.
And if you really hate it?
Call it done.
We don't need millstones around our neck.
Best tip? Always do a sample of what you are thinking about before committing.
