Wow. Never thought I'd see the day when NE would have a 3.5 earthquake and having the epicenter a couple of miles up the road.

I was talking to DH in the bathroom while he was getting ready for work when the entire room started rumbling really funny for a few seconds and pretty good too. Truthfully; I was too shocked to really figure out what was going on. I thought my water pipes in the basement had burst and ran downstairs to check. I have the plumber coming over tomorrow or Friday as I do have a leak. I had visions of the leak suddenly blowing causing my house to shake.

Then it hit me. It was an earthquake. My neighbor called up frantic wanting to know if my house had just shaken and I told her yes.

I checked the USGS website and it did have a 3.5 on the map. Wow.

Everything is fine. Maybe my post to Santa was read and he was letting me know I wasn't done confessing my quilting sins to get a present from the Fat Quarter Shop.

Holy crap! I read your post and had to check out the news because Nebraska and earthquakes don't really correlate. I didn't feel anything up here in Omaha, but how weird!

Wow! I'm so happy that no damage was done.
LOL....on the last part of your post about confessing your quilting sins.....I'm not even going to mention to Santa what I've been up to!
Take care.
